Revival Overview

Purpose of Revivals:
Revivals are one of the works of the Holy Spirit to guide true Kingdom Believers, encouraging them in their strengths and gently redirecting them to repentance in areas where they struggle with liberation from their evil inclinations. Revival miracles impact current believers, demonstrating God's love for His people and fulfilling His covenant promises, as well as the promises of Jesus.
Today, the only Jews who believe in Yeshua as their Messiah are known as Messianic Jews, and they generally worship in separate Messianic congregations where Gentiles are welcomed. Such Messianic fellowships may feel strange, but they provide an opportunity to learn about Jewish traditions, which are essential to a proper understanding of the New Testament, particularly the writings of Paul (the Apostle to the Gentiles).
Signs and Miracles:
Revivals do not happen continuously; instead, God periodically pours out His Holy Spirit to redirect, correct, and restore the Church (Kingdom Fellowships), bringing "new wine" into His Kingdom and to evangelize new unbelievers. While signs and miraculous healings—such as the restoration of mobility, sight, and hearing, as well as cures for diabetes, dystonia, asthma, various cancers, tumors, and many other conditions deemed "incurable" testify to the presence of the Kingdom of God at the revival, they are limited by the unbelief of the church.
We suggest watching some actual tent revivals conducted by Mario Murillo and examining the healings. They are real, as we have attended such revivals and interviewed some of those who received them.
If watching these Revival videos causes you to want to revival your life, don't wait for the next revival, let your heart respond right now, pray to God, tell Him you trust in Jesus and are willing to be obedient in following His laws, and then explore our Beginner Section where you will find help in 1) picking a bible translation, 2. selecting a fellowship to connect to, 3. receive baptism, 4) learn Scripture, not church doctrine, and 5. begin to experience the Holy Spirit within you, bringing forth the Fruit of the Spirit.
You can also use the BibleHub.com website to engage with the Scriptures daily, and explore the Teachers listed in the LINKS section of this website. This site can help you in all those areas. The Holy Spirit Anoints Jewish Believers:
Shortly after Jesus was crucified, His disciples and others who believed Yeshua (Jesus) was the long-awaited Jewish Messiah waited in Jerusalem in an upper room for the Jewish Feast of "First Fruits." Today, Christians commemorate Pentecost, the day when the Holy Spirit was given to empower believers in the Kingdom. During the original Shavuot Festival (First Fruits), celebrated 50 days after the Passover Festival, the Holy Spirit descended upon the believers who obediently remained in the Upper Room, awaiting God's visitation. Holy Spirit manifested Himself as Fire that split into individual 'Tongues' that rested on each person present, Jews who were in Jerusalem for the Shavuot (First Fruits) Festival.
Because of their new anointing and empowerment, these anointed disciples each spoke in different languages, praising God, which drew the attention of many Jews living in other parts of the Middle East who attended the festival in Jerusalem but spoke languages other than Hebrew. Over 3,000 Jews from all over Israel and beyond heard Peter's message and thereafter accepted Yeshua (also known as Jesus in English translations) as their Messiah. The Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead and drew Him up into Heaven, as the disciples had watched only ten days earlier.
What Christians Have Overlooked
The Christian Church conveniently overlooks (forgets) that the majority of early believers in Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah, were Jews, with only a few God-Fearing Gentiles.
Yeshua (translated as Jesus) was a Jewish Rabbi and claimed He was sent to the Lost Sheep of Israel, not to the Gentile world.
God-fearing Gentiles were considered to be "wild olives" who had been grafted into the original Jewish Olive Tree, so they were one (hybrid) plant. They received their status and inheritance by virtue of their grafting into this Jewish Olive Tree only.
Paul says, in Ephesians 2:15, that by virtue of the Messiah's death, the two heretofore separate groups (Jews and God-fearing Gentiles) had become ONE, new spiritual Man; that replaces (or is in place of) the two former groups (Jews and Gentiles). It's a case of the natural son (Jew) and the adopted son (Gentiles) being ONE family.
Ask yourself if anything that divides that family of Jews+Gentiles is an act of Satan and a powerful destruction of the unity and make up of the Kingdom of God on earth, or is it an act of the Holy Spirit? Keep the answer in mind as you reflect on the Christian Church in the post-Constantine period of the last 1,700 years.
🎥 Revival Videos:
These revival videos summarize America's founding covenant with God, which began in 1607 with the arrival of the first European settlers and the subsequent revivals that have occurred across the nation since then. In each revival, the Holy Spirit acted uniquely, often performing great miracles and remarkable healings to testify to the validity of Jesus' presence and the redirection of the Church needed in that era.
⛺ Revivals Today: Where Fire Still Falls
If you've never been to a revival, it’s worth experiencing. These are more than energetic gatherings—they are encounter points with the living God. Some are held in tents, others in stadiums, but the atmosphere is the same: expectation, hunger, and heaven touching earth.
-
Ministries like Mario Murillo host tent meetings across the U.S. that draw thousands.
-
These gatherings attract unbelievers, seasoned churchgoers, and even spiritual skeptics.
-
Many encounter healing, deliverance, prophetic insight, or Holy Spirit baptism, including the gift of tongues.
You’ll find his ministry and others like it in the LINKS section if you're curious to explore further.
💡 Conversions: When Eternity Begins
Like the massive events held by Billy Graham in the past, revivals are powerful—but not everyone who responds to the altar call at a tent meeting or in stadiums remains committed. Some struggle to turn from sin, and others drift back into old patterns without spiritual support.
But for many, these moments mark a true beginning:
-
A miracle of repentance.
-
A rebirth into the Kingdom.
-
A celebration in heaven for every soul that says yes to Yeshua.
And that’s why we honor these revivals: not because of lights or crowds, but because God still meets people there. When the Spirit moves, lives change.
And for those who endure to the end, eternal life awaits.
