Government & Judicial Mountain Overview
When God called Israel, He intended for the nation to rely solely on Him, rather than an earthly king. Yet, Israel felt uneasy without a visible ruler, and God, in His permissive will, granted them kings. Many of their subsequent kings and princes led Israel astray, turning the people's hearts away from the Lord and toward demons disguised as pagan gods. Similarly, in America today, we elect a leader—our president—who holds a position not unlike that of Israel's kings. While we discuss the separation of Church and State, most people do not realize how closely they are intertwined and are somewhat inseparable. Each one affects the other (or, in our case, ignores the other).
Congress functions much like the princes of old: individually less potent than the president, yet collectively capable of obstructing or endorsing his actions. When both governing forces align, the nation either flourishes or suffers. Yet, beneath the surface of political movements and historical decisions, an unseen spiritual realm is at work, influencing events beyond human perception.
Our historical awareness often neglects the long view, failing to recognize the eternal covenants God has established with Israel, the Church, and the nations. On Heaven's divine timeline, we stand at the precipice of the End Times, the Day of the Lord's Wrath. Darkness expands, seeking dominion, yet God preserves a faithful remnant—those who labor to spread His light. Chaos and destruction escalate, but behind the scenes, an unseen spiritual battle rages, shaping the global order in ways unnoticed by most. This supernatural realm is not a distant concept—it is an ever-present force, subtly altering the course of nations and the destinies of peoples.
This section examines recent events through the lens of divine history, contrasting modern developments with the covenants God has made with both Israel and America's early settlers. America was founded on a sacred covenant with God in 1607, an agreement that remains spiritually significant. If you have not yet watched the "God Establishes America" video in the Revival Section, doing so would provide further insight into this foundation.
America’s relationship with Israel carries profound spiritual weight. Scripture shows that a nation’s treatment of Israel often mirrors how God responds to that nation. If America turns its back on Israel in a time of crisis, it may invite vulnerability within its own borders. History offers sobering examples—empires have risen and fallen based on how they honored or opposed Israel and the Jewish people, even during the centuries when Israel had no national homeland. To rightly discern global events, we must adopt a God-centered lens. Without it, the consequences may unfold in ways that shape America’s destiny.
Israel stands at the epicenter of today’s global unrest, facing its most perilous threat: a nuclear-armed Iran with intentions of destruction. If America fails to stand in the gap, divine justice may allow our nation to face a similar nuclear consequence. Yet many Americans remain unaware—both of the spiritual covenant that undergirds this reality and the biblical principles that govern it.
What we sow, we inevitably reap—often in greater measure. If our intelligence agencies manipulate foreign elections, we should not be surprised when our own democratic process is shaken. Spiritual laws are not suspended by politics; they are eternal and exacting.
Under the Biden Presidency, America was under an unseen authority and power. God, in His sovereignty, allows such circumstances, reminding the nation that behind earthly rulers, a greater spiritual battle dictates the course of history.
Child Exploitation
This topic leads the Government Section because it is the most evil and demonic of all that occurs in the U.S. today. The issue of abuse, neglect, murder, trafficking, and worse of children is a direct result of the Biden Administration’s Open Border policy. That topic is covered next.
Below are some staggering numbers. If you cannot believe them, or you become incensed after reading and believing, there is a website at the end of this section that offers more information and action items regarding trafficked children in the United States.
This information is from a whistleblower named Tara Rodas, who testified before Senator Grassley and others in April of 2023 and continued her call to action in July of 2025 on the show Redacted. Tara reported that in the United States, there was a “well-organized criminal organization that the U.S. government is well aware of that spent $6.3 billion in taxpayer money in 2023 to traffic children for forced labor, forced sex, and other illicit reasons." To date, 400,000 children have been trafficked over the past ten years.
Tara reported that because of the number of Guatemalan children who were “recruited”, the Attorney General of Guatemala launched an investigation to help find their missing children. Mainstream media did not cover this issue, even though the Senate passed the Preventing Child Trafficking Act of 2024. Xavier Becerra, head of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and Merrick Garland, US Attorney General, both knew about this issue but did nothing to address it!
This sums up what the Lord thinks about this issue (Luke 17:1-2) “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.”
Open Borders
Below is the most glaring change among the list of directions the Biden Administration (or whoever was really in charge) implemented. Pew Research reported migrant encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border hit a record high at the end of 2023. The monthly number of encounters soared from 2020 on, with the number of migrant encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border surpassing 200,000 on 10 separate occasions (months).
• In December 2023, most encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border (54%) involved migrants traveling as single adults, while 41% involved people traveling in families and 5% involved unaccompanied minors
• There had also been a shift in migrants’ origin countries. Historically, most encounters at the Southwestern Border had involved citizens of Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.
• In December 2023, 54% of encounters involved citizens of Venezuela at 47,000 and alarmingly, China at 6,000 encounters.
These numbers only reflected those people who entered and registered, but not the getaways, the numbers of which are unknown. The Pew numbers did not address the number of gangs, criminals, and other less-than-desirable people.
The Pew Research article did report that eight-in-ten U.S. adults said the government was doing a very or somewhat bad job dealing with the large number of migrants seeking to enter the U.S. at the border with Mexico. And nearly as many said the situation was either a “crisis” (45%) or a “major problem” (32%) for the U.S.
But what would the Lord say about all this? First, most agree that Immigration is a complex issue. However, Romans 13:1-7 makes it clear that the Lord says people should obey the laws of government. The law of the land in the U.S. is closed borders with immigration after it is applied for. People in general, including Christians, believe that those entering illegally to achieve a better life could be forgiven. However, it is not the Lord’s way to violate laws to accomplish good.
What is right is for people to come into America through immigration policies already in place. Should Christians feed, clothe, and house those illegal immigrants in need? It is always the Lord’s way to be compassionate and those helping do not need to ask if the person they are serving is illegal or not. But it is hypocritical of established churches that did little to help the poor and homeless in America before opening their borders to suddenly assist illegal immigrants.
Judicial System
It became clear that the Biden administration was working hard to decrease the number of Blacks incarcerated in the U.S., but their methods were sometimes questionable. Pew Research Reported in their “The Gap Between the Number of Blacks and Whites in Prison is Shrinking” report, that the number of Blacks sentenced to federal and state prisons dropped from 592,900 in 2007 to 475,900 in 2017. Over the same period, the number of Whites sentenced dropped from 499,800 to 436,500. The number for Hispanics incarcerated stayed somewhat constant at 330,400 in 2007 and 336,500 in 2017.
Blacks still outpaced all other races but the Biden Justice System was intent on moving the needle. Still, it was the individual stories that gripped the nation, that of Jocelyn Nungaray who was 12 years old and allegedly killed by two illegal Venezuelan men for example. On the other side of justice, a man named Judge Hayes sentenced a woman to 496 days behind bars for failing to pay traffic tickets in 2012. Her children had to be put into foster care during which time her daughter was molested.
These cases illustrate how broken the U.S. Judicial System has become. This is what the Lord says that He hates: (Proverbs 6:16-17) "Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community." That covers a multitude of sins, but until America returns to the Lord, injustice will remain.
Law & Order
The Defund the Police movement that had arisen in America due to cases that made headlines, such as George Floyd and others. According to the Statista Research Department findings, in 2022, there was a total of 1,097 people shot to death by police in the United States with a breakdown of 389 White people, 225 Black people, and 120 Hispanics, the rest were of unknown origin. In 2023, the numbers were a total of 1,163 with 425 White people, 226 Black people, and 133 Hispanic people being shot to death. So far in 2024, the total shot to death has been 469, with 159 being White, 98 being Black and 71 being Hispanic.
Like all the rest of the governmental/judicial issues, the law & order issue is complex. There is a tipping point in every issue, and it would seem that the number of police being reduced is perhaps at that place. Pew Research posted a report entitled Growing share of Americans say they want more spending on police in their area that reported: Support for reducing spending on police has fallen significantly: 15% of adults said spending should have been decreased, down from 25% in 2020. Only 6% advocated decreasing spending a lot, down from 12% who said that in the previous year. At the same time, 37% of adults said spending on police should stay about the same, down from 42% in 2020.
What does the Lord say about lawlessness? There are over 10 verses in which lawlessness is addressed, here is one: 2 Thessalonians 2:7: “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.” The Lord hates lawlessness and it would be wise for our lawmakers and government to begin to heed this.
Trump Re-Elected 2024
For decades, Republicans and Democrats have been America's two main political parties. In the 2024 election, significant differences became evident between the two. Over the past three and a half years, it has been clear that the Democrats have pursued a policy of open borders, drastically increased government spending, and skewed the judicial system in favor of criminals. They have also failed to intervene in the ongoing decline of cities and have defunded the police, among other issues.
The rationale behind these policies appeared to stem from a desire among some political leaders in the United States to align with organizations such as the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, and the European Union to establish a new world government and order. While this agenda was/is predominantly associated with the Democratic Party, there are also many Republicans who, albeit less overtly, seem to support this goal.
Donald Trump promised to "Make America Great Again," but many Americans struggled to embrace his bold and brash style. However, since his attempted assassination, he seemed to have transformed. It’s not surprising, considering he came extraordinarily close to death and spoke at the Republican National Convention (RNC) as if he had encountered a higher power.
Govt. Spending
America is bankrupt. That is a sobering thought. The current debt in the United States is $34,898,641,350,900, which was inaccurate as soon as this was typed. This figure increases by one trillion dollars every 90 days! Despite this, the Biden Administration printed more money, and the U.S. has continued spending over $46 billion on Ukraine since 2022. And still, Biden is calling for more funding as of July 2024. The Ukrainians put up a valiant fight, but the war has been lost…it is just a matter of time. If Biden were capable, he would broker the best deal to end this devastation. But rumor has it that the world is headed for WW III shortly. Is that because the Military-Industrial complex and those who make trillions from war are greedy? Is the rumor true?
What about the additional millions of immigrants who are now in America? No one knows the actual numbers. The information below is from the House Judiciary Committee Hearing entitled “The Impact of Illegal Immigration on Social Services. The date of the report is July 11, 2024. Illegal immigrants are a net fiscal drain (a/c the U.S. House of Representatives report dated 7/11/2024). Illegals receive more in government services than they pay in taxes. This result is not due to laziness or fraud. Some illegal immigrants have high rates of work, and they do pay some taxes, including income and payroll taxes. The fundamental reason that illegal immigrants are a net drain is that they have a low average education level, which results in low average earnings and tax payments. It also means a large share qualify for welfare programs, often receiving benefits on behalf of their U.S.-born children. Like their less-educated and low-income U.S.-born counterparts, the tax payments of illegal immigrants do not come close to covering the cost they create.
The report goes into much greater detail, and a link is below to follow. Allowing millions of illegal immigrants into the country that offers a net fiscal drain when America is bankrupt and still supporting a lost war in Ukraine makes no sense.
What does the Lord say? Proverbs 22:7 says, “The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.” This verse suggests that debt can lead to losing freedom and autonomy.

Summary Points
God calls us not to sit idly by and watch what's happening in government but to influence changes that align it more closely with the Kingdom of God on earth. God never commended any of the seven churches described in Revelation 2 for remaining uninvolved in His Kingdom and has poured out His Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha'Kodesh) upon all willing and obedient believers to help establish His Kingdom here, in our country, and your city or town.

Vote for God-fearing candidates in elections, whether local or national, whether candidates are representatives or judges. Ask the Holy Spirit which candidate will honor God and vote.

Engage in spiritual warfare for elected officials through declarations, decrees, and intercession so they can follow God's will and stand firm against corruption. Write letters of encouragement when those elected hold fast to God's priorities. Provide letters or text messages with links to data sources regarding issues they're considering for legislation. Please encourage them to refocus education on core skills instead of woke social agendas.

Listen attentively for the Holy Spirit's direction in your life. Is He calling you to become personally involved in some branch of government? If so, start at the local level. Don't become discouraged by news reports from biased media, nor listen to whispers telling you that evil is winning and that God is powerless to prevail. Matthew 24:6-7 reports that Jesus said, “You will hear of wars and revolutions on every side, with more rumors of wars to come." Don’t panic or succumb to your fears, for the disintegration of the world’s system is destined to happen at the correct time.
The information in the Government & Judicial Section has not been particularly uplifting; some of it has been bleak. Psalm 121:1-6 says, “I look up to the mountains and hills, longing for God’s help. But then I realized our true help and protection is only from the Lord, our Creator, who made the heavens and the earth. He will guard and guide me, never letting me stumble or fall.” Yahweh, our God, is the source of our help, and Yahweh Shammah - is here with you now, waiting for you to recognize His presence and call out to Him.

We live in two creations simultaneously: the Earthly one we can see and the unseen Spiritual realm that the Earthly realm is but a reflection of. This physical world is not all that that exists. There is an unseen spiritual world that our spirit and soul also inhabit now.

Jesus will return from that realm to take His followers to the heavenly realm and equip them to return to their glorified bodies with Him for His millennial (1,000-year) reign.
