Business & Employment Mountain Overview

Overview

Historically, business and employment encompassed the various activities and processes involved in creating, managing, and growing enterprises while addressing the needs and expectations of the workforce. This field still encompasses understanding market dynamics, developing business strategies, and optimizing operational efficiency; however, much has changed with the emergence of Artificial Intelligence.
With the rise of AI technology and globalization, business and employment practices are evolving. This shift highlights the need for adaptability and innovation in organizational structures. The Business-Employment Section will explore the possibility of returning to Godly principles and practices in business and employment during a time when robotics and AI are increasingly replacing human jobs, while our schools focus more on teaching political correctness than on providing marketable job skills.

The Purpose of Work

The Purpose of Work

When the Lord created Adam and Eve, He desired for them to have a direct relationship with Him in the Garden. He also intended for them to share in His work. The purpose He gave them was to be fruitful and multiply. God instructed Adam and Eve to rule over and subdue the creatures of the sea, the air, and the ground, as well as the plants. From the very beginning, God loved humanity and created them with a purpose: to work alongside Him in stewarding the Earth.
Despite the curse that came as a result of the fall, the Lord continued to bless humanity with food. However, work became associated with painful toil, earned by the sweat of their brow.
In modern times, work continues to fulfill God's desire for humans to have food and to provide for their families. Yet, there is a concerning vision among some globalists: they aim for the elites to control the rest of the population, determining who works and who does not. This effort seeks to usurp the Lord's blessings for mankind and to replace God by dictating how things will operate on Earth.

Purpose of Work
Money

Money

Money and Its Corruption

In the earliest economic systems, bartering was the primary method for exchanging goods and services. Individuals directly traded items they had in surplus for those they needed. However, this system was limited by the necessity of a mutual desire for each other's goods, known as the "double coincidence of wants." To address these limitations, societies gradually introduced money as a more efficient medium of exchange. Initially, commodities such as shells, salt, and livestock were used as money due to their intrinsic value and widespread acceptance. Over time, the development of metal coins and paper currency provided a standardized and universally accepted means of trade. This innovation facilitated more complex transactions, promoted economic growth, and paved the way for modern financial systems.

Power & Control

Power and Control

Power and Control

The relationship between money and power has developed significantly over time, becoming a crucial aspect of how societies and economies are structured. In early civilizations, those who controlled valuable resources and the means of production often gained political and social influence. As economies evolved and grew more complex, wealthy individuals were able to use their financial resources to exert considerable power. They shaped political decisions, funded armies, and influenced public policy.
The concentration of wealth among a small number of individuals further strengthened the link between money and power. Economic dominance often led to greater social and political leverage. Over time, the ability to generate and control capital became a key factor in determining authority and influence, reinforcing the idea that financial resources are closely connected to power and control, both locally and globally.

AI

AI (Artificial Intelligence)

Artificial Intelligence Emerges

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to significantly impact the number of executives, managers, and workers in future businesses, resulting in both reductions and expansions in these roles. For executives, AI's ability to analyze vast amounts of data and forecast trends could streamline decision-making processes. This may lead to a reduced need for a large executive team while enhancing the focus on strategic oversight.
In the case of managers, there might be a decrease in numbers as AI automates routine tasks and optimizes workflows. However, this could also create a higher demand for managers who can oversee complex AI systems and foster collaboration between humans and AI.
For workers, the impact of AI is twofold. While automation may decrease the need for certain routine or manual jobs, it will also generate new opportunities and roles that require advanced skills. This shift will likely result in a change in job types rather than a straightforward reduction in total employment. Overall, the effect will probably be a more specialized and adaptable workforce, with growth in areas related to AI development, maintenance, and ethical management.

Immigration

Immigration and Jobs

Immigration and Jobs

Millions of illegal immigrants have crossed the U.S. border. Reports indicate that these immigrants have displaced workers in unskilled positions. Most people who seek employment do so to provide food and necessities for their families, as well as to fulfill their self-esteem needs. People want to take pride in their work and do not wish to spend their days idle and unpaid. This situation has led to growing resentment, particularly among those competing for unskilled jobs.
As AI continues to transform the job market, immigrants with advanced technical education and expertise are likely to find new opportunities in technology-driven fields such as AI development and data analysis. However, those with lower educational levels may struggle as automation and AI reshape traditional job sectors. The future employment landscape will require targeted efforts in education and training to help everyone adapt to these changes, ensuring they can benefit from emerging opportunities and contribute to the evolving economy.
The government has now begun to address these issues, but only time will tell how effective they are.

Globalist View

Globalist View

The Globalist View

When Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum, and proponents of globalist ideas refer to the phrase "You will own nothing and be happy," they envision a future where traditional notions of ownership and consumerism are fundamentally transformed. This concept is often associated with the idea of a "sharing economy," which prioritizes access to goods and services over individual ownership.
This vision suggests that advancements in technology will allow people to access resources on demand without the burdens of ownership. Supporters argue that this shift could lead to a more equitable distribution of resources, reduce environmental impact, and foster greater social cohesion. However, critics assert that this vision could erode personal freedoms and autonomy, raising concerns about privacy, control, and the implications of diminished individual ownership in an increasingly digital and monitored society.
If people cannot compete for work in a world increasingly dominated by artificial intelligence, will society take care of their food and other needs? Since the Lord created the earth, work has been tied to self-esteem. What will happen to people's perceptions of themselves and their relationship with God? Many globalists do not consider this issue, either because they do not believe in God or because they seek to supplant Him and take control of the world.

God's Plan

God's Plan

God's Plan

In the Old Testament, God instructed people to observe a Sabbatical year every seven years. This year was meant to be a time of rest for the soil, care for the poor and animals, remission of debts, and the release of Israelite slaves. Although not explicitly stated in Biblical terms, modern economies also experience a sort of Sabbatical year approximately every seven years, which we refer to as a recession or economic downturn.
God made provisions for everyone and everything, but humanity has often failed to follow His wisdom. The state of the world reflects this reality. However, the Lord remains in control and outlines His plan for the End Times in the Book of Revelation. The signs provided by God indicate that the End is approaching quickly, although only He knows the exact timing.

Suggestions to Enhance Business

Summary Points

Here are some points to consider for Business and Employment:

  • Do a person's job skills and knowledge determine their value, or does the Lord?

  • Should the goal of business be to create an ultra-rich class that controls others' lives?

  • Should it be to uplift as many people as possible in a culture that honors the Lord?

  • What is the proper role of business in achieving a balanced society?

  • Is it "fair" that the compensation for a CEO can be 300 times that of the average employee?

  • What is the ideal ratio of productive workers to managers?

  • Automation usually increases productivity—a benefit for businesses and shareholders—but it also reduces the need for human workers.

  • What if every employee also held shares in the company?

  • What if companies covered tuition costs for local community colleges or universities to help enhance the skills of those laid off?

  • Imagine if universities offered curricula that provided skills directly relevant to the businesses in their vicinity, with education executives collaborating with local business leaders to determine the necessary courses and content.

  • AI is on the verge of radically changing the employment landscape, and those who control AI technology will likely continue to enrich themselves in a society that lacks a moral compass.

  • A growing number of displaced individuals may become disillusioned, hopeless, and potentially violent against the companies that have contributed to their plight.

  • The Lord has promised a New Jerusalem upon Jesus's return, marking the beginning of the Messiah's 1,000-year reign. The world will be recreated during this time, and God's Kingdom will be manifest on the new Earth.
